This fall the Sunday School Class is focusing on Abraham and Sarah and
their special relationship with God. The lesson are taught in a
rotation format allowing the children to experience the Bible story in
many different ways. Over the course of eight (8) weeks, the class
will explore God's promises to Abraham and Sarah though kid-friendly,
multimedia workshops: an Art workshop, Story telling, Music, Games,
Computers, Science, Drama and Cooking.
The scripture references for the Abraham and Sarah unit are as follows: Genesis 12; 13:1-4, 12; 17; 18:1-15; 21:1-8. Parents are encouraged to read the scripture passages with their children.
Throughout the year, the Elementary age children attend the first 10
minutes of the worship service and then proceed to their classroom.
On the third Sunday of each month, the class participates in a
Children's Sermon
given during the worship service.
